songs

Inspired by the lively sing song in Ireland and supported by my singing Irish friend Caoilte Breathnach I started singing in 2003.
The songs are mostly folk songs, sometimes transcribed by 20-century composers like Leos Janacek, Henryk Gorécky, Benjamin Britten and Jean Sibelius
I record the song from the person who sings it for me and write down the lyrics phonetically. In this way it is possible for me to sing songs in languages that I don't speak.
I try to learn all the lyrics by heart.
