spiraal 4 - spiral 4
On the floor a circle has been drawn in a chalk with a radius of 3.75 meters. Along the entire line is a white nylon ribbon, attached to a weight at the end. Attached to the weight is a rope measuring the radius of the circle.
I walk along the inside of the circle while carrying the weight hanging above the circle line.
I gradually make my circles smaller towards the center while increasing my walking-speed and letting the rope in my hand run out.
I increase the speed of rotating the weight in order to keep it flying above the circle line.
In the meantime the entire length of the ribbon is moving in circular forms, starting to fly above the floor.
When I have arrived in the center, the turning-speed is so high, that the entire ribbon flies at eye level, thus forming a circle of the same size as the one originally lying on the floor.
